The 1st round of KANS competition’s final jury session held

Final jury session for the 1st round of KANS (Knowledge Application and Notion for Society) scientific competition was held at MSTF.

KANS’s jury met at Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation as Saeed Sohrabpour and the specialized jurors were amongst the main participants.

According to Saeed Sohrabpour, head of the KANS’s jury, 15 countries, including Iran, Oman, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nigeria, Egypt and Kazakhstan are taking part at this round of KANS scientific competition.

“The jurors in 5 specialized groups completed the work and selected 15 nominees for KANS scientific competition. Among the selected participants of the course, the few best would be awarded and 3 other influential works will be praised at the closing ceremony of KANS event,” he added.

Referring to the fact that KANS scientific competition is among university students and professors as well as researchers under the age of 45, Sohrabpour said: “It would be much better to move towards commercialization in order to take a step on the path for further development.”

While the jurors of KANS scientific competition include outstanding professors from reputable universities from Islamic world, head of KANS jury assured that all works will be reviewed considering the specialized principles.

"We are constantly striving to expand development in the Islamic world, and help the improvement of science and knowledge, which has a remarkable contribution to providing services for the people, through attracting elites from all over the world,” Sohrabpour said.

This is while the 1st round of KANS scientific competition aims at finding the best scientific solutions for social problems using the capacities of the community of experts, providing series of scientific works, raising the level of motivation and creativity of young elites, establishing a platform for the recognition and exchange of scientific and technological ideas, and the purposeful continuity of researchers' engagement through cyberspace.
