Youth from Islamic countries discuss Nanotechnology at 8th Mustafa(Pbuh) Prize Science Cafe

The 8th Mustafa(Pbuh) Prize Science Cafe was held in the presence of international students in Pardis Technology Park, Iran on March 7th, 2022.

During the 8th Mustafa Prize Science Cafe, Abbas Shahmoradi, professor of nanotechnology, explained nanoscience and its significance to students from various scientific fields such as biology, road and transportation, electronics, computer, and law.

The nanotechnology researcher also gave the audience an overview of the vast nano-based technologies and the many links that science has with human life. Then, an atomic force microscope based on nanotechnology was introduced to the audience, along with an explanation of the role it has in scientific research.

Shahmoradi, the manufacturer of the atomic force microscope in Iran, while pointing to the wide applications of nanotechnology in various fields of research, answered the questions raised by the participants regarding the application of nanotechnology in different scientific disciplines.

Science Cafe is one of the promotional events held by Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation, aiming at promoting science and technology in the Islamic world. This event hosts experts from various fields of science, providing an informal environment for the public’s engagement with science in the form of asking questions and sharing ideas with the guest speakers of the program and with each other. So far, five laureates of the Mustafa Prize have given speeches in the form of five separate science cafe.
