Which fields of science will be granted Mustafa(Pbuh) Prize in its 5th edition?

For the 5th time Mustafa(pbuh) Prize will be granted to prestigious works of Muslim scientists in four categories.

MSTF Media reports:

In its previous rounds, the award was granted to three specialized groups of communication and information technology, biological and medical sciences, nano-technology and a general field; which means, all fields of science and technology.

According to the Mustafa(pbuh) Prize approach and in line with encouraging and developing science, the 5th round Mustafa(pbuh) Prize hosts the works of prominent scientists in four categories.

The basic sciences and engineering group is included instead of all fields of science and technology in this round of the Mustafa(pbuh)Prize.

Mustafa(pbuh) Prize has started its mission with the aim of identifying the outstanding works of scientists of the Islamic world in developing science and technology in the world and after the scientific study of 300 world awards and reviewing their standards.

Mustafa(pbuh)Prize has been held four times in 1394, 1396, 1398 and 1400, and the fifth edition will be held in 1402, at the same time as the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad(pbuh).

5th Mustafa(pbuh)Prize categories

Science, information and communication technology; the achievements of communication and information science in recent decades have affected our lives so much that it is no longer easy to imagine life without them.

Today we are connected with the whole world from everywhere to find out our need and present our achievements.

This different understanding of a world without borders and full of facilities owes to the efforts and innovations of researchers who have developed these technologies at the frontiers of science.

With the aim of encouraging and developing scientific activities in the field of science and information and communication technology, the Mustafa(pbuh) Prize is granted to a work that plays an important role in advancing this field of science in the world or its results pave the ground for effective global communication or a positive change in people's lifestyles.

Biological and medical science and technology; Our knowledge and understanding of the fundamental structures that shape life on earth has changed a lot over the past half century, and various fields of biological sciences; like genetics, molecular biology, neuroscience and the like, have increased our understanding of how living systems work.

This understanding is not limited to theoretical knowledge or to the world of science and has greatly influenced the health and comfort of humans in medicine and biological technologies by providing tangible results and applications.

The Mustafa(pbuh) Prize is granted to a top work in science and biological and medical technology fields, which has left a lasting impact on the understanding of life or improving the quality of human life.

Nano science and technology; Over the last few decades, with the help of emerging nano-technology knowledge, researchers have crossed the borders of the common characteristics of materials and given them new dimensions.

This ability is due to manipulating the properties of materials in very small dimensions to the level of molecules and atoms of materials and living cells.

This significant progress has opened up new fields for interdisciplinary theoretical and applied research, and its development can lead to the growth of different branches of science in different parts of the world.

Mustafa(pbuh) Prize is granted to innovative and pioneering scientific activity with the aim of developing knowledge and nanotechnology and unveiling the possibilities of this new knowledge, which has improved our knowledge of the small-scale world and benefit the human society.

Basic science and engineering; many Muslim researchers in the world contribute to the advancement of science and technology with their innovations and findings and improve the quality of human life.

Finding these researchers and establishing effective communication with them will strengthen the scientific relations between Muslim researchers and with prestigious scientific bodies in the world and will advance knowledge in the world.

Introducing these scientists and appreciating their role in advancing knowledge and technology will create a good example for other researchers in the world.
