Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation invites experts in the fields of A.I, Environment, Health and Energy to (STEP)

Head of the 9th STEP ,Shaghayegh Haghjooy said that STEP is an opportunity to present achievements and successful experiences and how to overcome difficulties in muslim countries.

Accordingly, the Mustafa(pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation was established to promote the role of Muslims in presenting the development of science and technology, Haghjooy said addressing the 9th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) press conference here in Tehran on Monday.
She termed the Mustafa(pbuh) Prize as one of the most significant science and technology awards in the world, saying that the Mustafa(pbuh) Prize , has prepared other programs in various fields such as Annual Noor Student Competition, KANS scientific competition and Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP).
She referred to STEP as one of the most important programs of Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation, which is specifically designed to create network among Muslim scientists and create a friendly atmosphere.STEP is an opportunity to present achievements and successful experiences and how to overcome difficulties, so that scientists can share these experiences in the form of scientific lectures, panels and roundtables, and a general science and technology policy meeting, she stressed.
Elsewhere in her remarks, Haghjooy pointed to holding eight rounds of STEP, saying that STEP has scientific and technological section.The event will be held in ecosystem of science and technology, health, energy and environment, and artificial intelligence categories, she noted.
Eight rounds of STEP have so far been held, the first round of which meeting in 2015 coincided with the first Mustafa(pbuh) Prize award in Tehran, the second in 2016 at UPM University of Malaysia, the third one during the second Mustafa(pbuh) Prize in 2017 in Tehran with the presence of 90 scientists from 25 countries.The 4th round was hosted by Sultan Qaboos University of Oman in water, energy and health, challenges and appropriate solutions fields.The 5th STEP was held at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) Karachi, Pakistan in March 2018 under communication of science and technology, financing of science and technology topics.The 6th round was held simultaneously with the third Mustafa(pbuh) Prize in the fields of health and water and energy correlation as well as functional levels.The 7th virtual meeting was held with the cooperation of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the 8th round was held at the same time as the 4th Mustafa(pbuh) Prize was held in Tehran.
