MSTF pavilion welcomes brilliant ideas from school students

The pavilion of Mustafa(pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) in Iran Health Exhibition 2024 was dedicated to Noor science cafe for school students.
MSTF Media reports:
Throughout this 4-day event, a number of school students presented their inventions in the MSTF pavilion to the exhibition attendees and received their feedback. These students were from 7 to 16 years old.
Viana Taheri is a 6th grader who has designed “Paayno” ─ a walker that is user-friendly to the patients having difficulty in walking due to a broken leg. She said what made her come up with this idea was her grandmother’s accident with a bus. “My grandma had to deal with her severely injured legs after the accident and had to use a walker in order to move,” Viana said, adding “This walker allows the users to put their feet in a more comfortable position to avoid inflammation and contusion.”
Hasti Ghasemi, a 10th grader from Alborz Province, presented her invention on liver cancer treatment with the aid of hyperthermia and superparamagnetic materials. “My research paper on this topic has been published in two journals. Also, in competitions around the world, I have received the first rank in 4 countries including Malaysia, England, South Korea and the Philippines,” she said.
Arsam Sattari, the 5th grader who has designed a smart stick for the blind, explained that “this stick beeps when a blind person gets closer to an obstacle.”
Mahyar Farahani is also a 5th grader, who has made an herbal hand disinfectant which can be used in public places. Zhina is another little researcher, a 7-year- old who has made an herbal disinfectant, but for pets. She has received medals from France, the U.S. and Turkey as a very young researcher.
Taha Borzuyi, a 13-year-old student, presented his “sterilized bath” which is primarily useful for disabled people and the elderly as it works without the aid of hands. “Instead of electricity, we can devise solar panels for its energy. That way, it is probably easier to utilize it in public places and the final product is also environment-friendly,” Taha said.
The presence of students in this pavilion was a part of the 19th Mustafa(pbuh) Prize science cafe (Noor science cafe), where students introduced their innovative ideas to others and answered others' questions about these achievements. This science cafe is the second Mustafa Prize student science cafe.
