Unveiling of the Bust of the Prominent Egyptian Scientist at the Second Sci-Feast

During the Second Sci-Feast, the bust of Professor Ahmed Hassan was unveiled at the Scientists' Park in the Iran Innovation district.

This event, which coincided with World Science Day for Peace and Development, was accompanied by a series of scientific events for science and technology enthusiasts.
The Sci-Feast is a scientific event that brings together scientists, students, and all members of the science and technology ecosystem. It focuses on presenting significant cutting-edge achievements, especially those of the Mustafa (pbuh) Prize laureates, in simple language. The second Sci-Feast hosted professors and students from Dezful, Qazvin, Isfahan, Tehran, Alborz, Tabriz, Mazandaran, and Zanjan.
At the end of the one-day Sci-Feast, in addition to unveiling the English-language publication "Observatory," guests and officials attended the Scientists' Park at Pardis Technology Park to unveil the busts of the laureates of the 2023 Mustafa (pbuh) Prize.
In this part of the program, with the presence of Umut Başar, the Educational Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Iran, the bust of Professor Murat Uysal, a prominent Turkish scientist who was awarded the 2023 Mustafa (pbuh) Prize for his achievements in optical wireless communication technology, was unveiled.
A notable highlight of this ceremony was the unveiling of the bust of Professor Ahmed Hassan, a distinguished Egyptian scientist known as a pioneer in the field of Mining Software Repositories (MSR). He was awarded the Mustafa (pbuh) Prize in 2023 for this achievement and is a professor at Queen's University in Canada. Ahmed Hassan is the first contemporary Egyptian scientist to have his bust unveiled in Iran. At the end of the Sci-Feast, in addition to these two scientists, the busts of Professor Omid Farokhzad, Professor Samia Khoury, and Professor Ahmad Fawzi Ismail were also unveiled.
