The first issue of the international magazine “Observatory” is published

The first issue of the English magazine "Observatory" has been published with 100 pages featuring reports and interviews on some of the world’s most important scientific achievements.
MSTF media reports:
In this magazine, the outstanding scientific achievements of scientists from all over the world are explained in simple language. Among the articles in this issue there is a detailed interview with Omid Farokhzad, an Iranian professor at Harvard University, in which he talks about his experience during the important period of the formation and growth of nanomedicine. This scientist is known worldwide for his achievements in developing nanoparticles to treat diseases, especially cancer. Arojanan, a Malaysian science communicator, also discusses the nature and necessity of science communication in countries around the world in an interview with this magazine. Murat Uysal, a professor at New York University Abu Dhabi, whose achievements in this issue are presented with a look at the field of optical wireless communications Technology since the 19th century. "A Spark of Hope for Taming Multiple Sclerosis (MS)" is the title of a report that, while referring to the real-world experiences of a patient, explains the outstanding research of the Lebanese female scientist, Professor Samia Joseph Khoury, for the treatment of this disease. String theory and why it needs F-theory is the focus of a scientific report detailing the achievement of Cumrun Vafa, a physics professor at Harvard University.
“What is software?” A seemingly simple but actually difficult question that is answered in this issue, presenting a report by Professor Ahmed Hassan, an Egyptian scientist in the field of MSR. The report titled "Nanoparticles that keep watch on blood glucose level" is about the achievement of Professor Jackie Yi-Ru Ying in the field of using polymer nanoparticles in stimulus response systems for smart drug delivery in the body.
This issue has expressed some important scientific concepts through reports from Science Cafes held in the fields of stem cells, theoretical physics and gene therapy. The achievements of Dr. Hossein Baharvand, a pioneering scientist in the field of stem cells, were the focus of the 20th Science Cafe and are discussed in this issue titled "Parkinson's Disease: Stem Cells Offer New Hope". The 21st Science Cafe report discusses the emergence of string theory to bridge the vast world of relativity and the small world of quantum mechanics, and explores other aspects of Professor Cumrun Vafa’s achievements. The 22nd Science Cafe report, titled “Editing the Codes of Creation”, focusing on gene therapy and the achievements of Ugur Sahin. This Turkish-born scientist is the co-founder of the German company BioNTech and is working on mRNA-based vaccines for cancer treatment.
The first issue of Observatory also reported briefly on the first to sixth rounds of the Sci-Quest campaign, focused on the achievements of Professor Ali Khademhosseini, Ugur Sahin, Omid Farokhzad, Cumrun Vafa, Hossein Baharvand, and Samia Khoury. Professor Ali Khademhosseini is the Executive Director of the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovations, known for his achievement of "Creating Nano and Micro Hydrogels for Biomedical Applications."
This publication, which also comes with a podcast, seeks to familiarize science enthusiasts around the world with current issues in these fields, presenting cutting edge achievements of science and technology in simple language.
