Thirty technological units to attend 9th STEP
Secretary of STEP Technology Department , Milad Sadrkhanlou said that 30 technological units from 12 countries will participate in the 9th round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP).

Addressing the 9th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) press conference here in Tehran on Monday, Sadrkhanlou said that the participating companies are active in business and industry and are supposed to be in touch with 60 Iranian companies.
He stressed that the technology category of STEP is aimed at connecting international scientists and companies with Iranian knowledge-based firms to help develop business and promote the level of knowledge and technology.
He noted that efforts will be made in line with joint production, knowledge and technology transfer and upgrading business.
Sadrkhanlou went on to say that some Iranian companies will participate in the technology category of STEP, adding that they are to present their achievements and potentials.
During the previous round of STEP, Iran and India had started cooperation in providing medical equipment for diagnosing Pediatric Heart Failure in children, He stated.
He expressed hope for signing MOUs and contracts on the sidelines of the 9th STEP. Sadrkhanlou said that guests from Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Nigeria and Indonesia has confirmed invitation for attending the event.
