Iran’s First Science Festival
The Pardis Science Festival is the first science festival of Iran, designed to bring science closer to society and inspire future generations of scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The festival creates a unique platform where scientists, researchers, knowledge-based companies, students, and the public come together to experience science in an engaging, interactive, and accessible environment.
Organized jointly by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation and Pardis Technology Park, the festival is hosted at Pardis Technology Park within Iran’s International Innovation District. The festival aims to strengthen public engagement with science, promote scientific literacy, and foster a culture that supports science and innovation.
Date and Venue
The first Pardis Science Festival will be held from 15–18 November 2026 (24–27 Aban 1405) at Pardis Technology Park, located in the Iran International Innovation Zone, near Tehran.
As Iran’s leading innovation ecosystem, Pardis Technology Park hosts hundreds of technology companies, startups, and research institutions, making it an ideal venue for an international science festival. In addition, the park is home to the Scientists’ Park and several public engagement facilities, providing unique opportunities for interactive exhibitions, and direct engagement between scientists and the public.

The festival consists of four major sections:
1. Science Stage
The Science Stage serves as the festival’s central platform for dialogue, inspiration, and public engagement with science. Through keynote talks, science cafés, scientific film screenings, award ceremonies, policy discussions, and scientific presentations, it brings together scientists, communicators, policymakers, and the public to explore the role of science in society.
2. Interactive Science Exhibition
The Interactive Science Exhibition offers hands-on experiences that make science and technology accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for visitors of all ages. Featuring interactive exhibits, robotics activities, astronomy programs, innovation competitions, and showcases of technological and medical achievements, it highlights the creativity and impact of scientific discovery and innovation.
3. SciTech Forum
The SciTech Forum provides a professional environment for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and capacity building across science, technology, and innovation sectors. Through workshops, networking events, technology diplomacy sessions, intellectual property advisory services, and career-development programs, it fosters connections between researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and industry leaders.
4. Food Lab
The Food Lab explores the science, technology, and future of food through interactive and educational experiences that connect everyday life with scientific discovery. By examining topics such as food technology, food chemistry, food physics, and emerging food systems, it encourages visitors to better understand how science shapes the production, quality, sustainability, and future of what we eat.
