Patron-in-Chief international center for chemical and biochemical sciences, university of Karachi, stressed the importance of science and technology development in Islamic countries, urging Muslims to participate in their national GDP.

Director of the STEP5 welcome all the attendees of the event, describing the extent of communicable and non-communicable diseases and the burden these diseases impose to low- and middle-income countries.

Director of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) gave the welcome speech at the inauguration ceremony held at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research at the University of Karachi.

The Chair of the scientific committee of the 5th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries said that one of the important goals is to create a platform for increased interaction among scientists. Scientists and leaders of the recognized science and technology organizations in the international arena will, together with other actors in the field of science and technology, exchange views on science, technology and innovation in order to promote the general level of welfare of human societies.

The Chair of the scientific committee of the 5th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic Countries said that it had special emphasis on women's gathering and holding scientific discussions to network and employ each other's experiences, ultimately taking into account the value of collective knowledge.

Around 70 scientists took part at the 5th round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) of the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and presented the latest findings in the field of health science.

The panel for the female scientists’ contribution in future global village was held at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, ICCBS, of the university of Karachi of Pakistan which co-organized the 5th round of the Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries with Mustafa(Pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF).

The panel for latest achievements in medicinal chemistry was held at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, ICCBS, of the university of Karachi of Pakistan which co-organized the 5th round of the Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries with Mustafa(Pbuh) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF).
